8 months

Holden turned 8 months on the 23rd. Holy moly, where have these months gone? He does something new every day. He has started to "blow kisses". He just pops his lips together and makes a smacking sound, but it is the cutest thing. He wasn't too interested in doing it once the camera came out but he does it a couple of times.

I love watching him play. He is so interested in everything that is going on, no matter what it is. He fights taking naps during the day because he doesn't want to miss anything.

Hayley is getting so big. I can't believe she will be 4 in May. It's hard to think that she will be starting school soon. (hopefully she will get into early start, pray, and keep your fingers crossed please!) She is such a good big sister, and she adores her bubba. Look at this picture of Hayley when she was about 7 months old next to Holden. No one can tell me that my babies don't look alike.

Have a happy Sunday everyone!

Kristen

So my best friend in the entire world is pregnant. I was so excited when she called me in November and told me the news and after her first visit to the doctor I was 100% convinced she was having a girl. Last weekend, she had a gender reveal party. She and Danny went to the doctor and got the ultrasound picture revealing baby C's gender and took the picture to Kristen's boss  she owns Lilly Magilly's cupcakery  So she baked up some delicious cupcakes with so much detail and Kristen picked them up Saturday morning.
When Kristen and Danny bit into the cupcake, it was either going to be pink or blue.. low and behold it was PINK! They are having a baby girl and I couldn't be happier for the two of them. Every mommy needs a baby girl, but equally so, every daddy needs a son of their own. So for Danny's sake, they are gonna have to have at least one more.

Here is the video I took of them finding out what they were having.

Hayley's excited that she's going to have a girl too, she keeps telling me that she wants a little sister, so hopefully spending time with this baby will put that to rest :) The kids were so good during the party, everyone wanted to play pass the baby with Holden.

Did I mention that I had NO voice over the whole weekend. So when it came to bed time, Brian stepped in and read Hayley her bed time story. And then they fell asleep on the couch together. So adorable.
